5. Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003)
This film had a lot going against it. First off, James Cameron was not involved. Then, T3 had to live up to the standards of the first 2 installments; which was no easy feat.
T3 is decent and the ending was really good by bringing the pre-apocalyptic trilogy to a close with a haunting finale that hints at John Connors inevitably destiny as leader of the resistance.
The Terminator franchise has potential but until they find someone who can recreate that menacing, relentless killing machine, like Arnold did in its debut, then the sequels will always fall flat.
