Paul McCartney- The Best Post Beatles Work, Part 2

Updated: Nov 30, 2022

The Aroundtable is proud to present the second part in our selection of Paul McCartney’s best post-Beatles work.

Memory Almost Full (2007)

A very misunderstood record. Memory Almost Full is so melodic an accessible that we miss the underlying theme of mortality that slowly works its way into the material.

Chaos and Creation in the Backyard (2005)

McCartney makes a welcome return to the largely one-man-band record that resembles the homespun simplicity of his 1970 self titled debut.

Chaos and creation is a quiet and subtle record which may have passed over by some listeners, but it's a grower , so go back and spend some time with it and it becomes clear that McCartney is far from being spent as either a songwriter or record-maker.
