Knives Out is an upcoming 2019 American black comedy mystery film written and directed by Rian Johnson. Described as a modern take on the whodunit murder mystery, the film follows a family gathering gone horribly awry, after the family patriarch's death leads a master detective to investigate. The film stars Daniel Craig and Chris Evans in lead roles along with Ana de Armas, Jamie Lee Curtis, Toni Collette, Don Johnson, Michael Shannon, Lakeith Stanfield, Katherine Langford, Jaeden Martell, and Christopher Plummer in supporting roles.
Knives Out is scheduled to be released on November 27, 2019 by Lionsgate.
