Captain Marvel is an extraterrestrial Kree warrior who finds herself caught in the middle of an intergalactic battle between her people and the Skrulls. Marvel continues its winning formula with Captain Marvel (CM). CM is an entertaining film but fails in giving our heroin a formidable villian to battle and after watching Black Panther, a second rate villain just don't cut it.
Still, the film has lots of action, adventure and comedy to keep you entertained. Yet, it could have been a whole lot more.
Brie Larson is great as CM but I can't say it enough, the film surfers from the lack of a menacing villain.
