Before his controversial rants, Gibson was a bon a fide action staring the Mad Max and Lethal Weapons franchises. Gibson has an intense acting style usually playing character who have gone off the edge to due personal tragedy.
Gibson created one of the greatest anti-heros ever to roam in a post-apocalyptic badlands, and reinvented the buddy action cop formula. No one plays the man on the edge with a heart of gold like Gibson, and for that he deserves to be on our list.
