Jurassic World (2015)

“So, you went and made a new dinosaur? Probably not a good idea…” but maybe a decent idea for a movie. Director Colin Trevorrow brings us back to Isla Nublar some 22 years later, which is now the home of a fully functional dinosaur theme park called, Jurassic World.

But the world is not in awe with the dinosaur as it once was, and with attendance dropping, the top geneticists at Jurassic World have created a new attraction to spike attendance. A new dinosaur called the Indominus Rex. It is scarier and deadlier then anything we have ever seen before. Can things go wrong?

Well of course things go wrong. Once the Indominus Rex breaks from its containment and endangers the lives of everyone on Isla Nublar, it is up to our heroes, Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) and Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) to save the day.

After a 14 year hiatus, Jurassic World won’t win any awards for originality or for reinventing the franchise, but Director Colin Trevorrow has delivered the most satisfying sequel in the franchise’s history. Jurassic World has the feel, the look and the pace that comes close to Steven Speilbergs’ 1993 classic, Jurassic Park.
