Noel Gallagher: Flying High

May 3, 2015

Noel Gallagher returns with his sophomore album ‘Chasing Yesterday’. For those not in the know, Noel Gallagher was the former guitarist, co-lead singer and principal song writer for the British rock band, Oasis. The same Oasis that was disbanded in 2009 after a dispute with brother and band mate Liam Gallagher.

Now, in 2015, Noel Gallagher stands out on his own with his band, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds.  ‘Chasing Yesterday’ is a great album from start to finish. Gallagher is in fine form and the album is well played and well produced overall. It showcases how truly comfortable Gallagher is with his craft and taps into the 1960-70’s rock sound that he effortlessly makes sound contemporary.

‘Chasing Yesterday’ is a cohesive album where all the songs intertwine and easily flow from one to another. This is an album for music lovers, those who truly love listening to an entire album from start to finish. I highly recommended Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds newest release.
