When I was a toddler, my sisters would ask me to watch cartoon movies such as Snow White, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty to name a few. Just watching these movies for 5 minutes made me want to leave the room because I found them to be too girly, perfect, but most importantly unrealistic. However Maleficent, starring Angelina Jolie, not only was it a pleasure to watch, but worth the fee of admission. Every person who has ever seen the cartoon version of Sleeping Beauty, must see Maleficent, especially those who are teenagers. It will open their eyes on how to perceive good looking people and to seek their prince charming or princess. The movie teaches two things: 1) not to judge a book from its cover; and 2) do not pass any judgement until you have all the facts. In my opinion, the movie illustrates the Prince's kiss perfectly. Maleficent is a must see movie. To get into the spirit of the movie, I will leave you with a quote from a great song and singer Whitney Houston. “I found the greatest love inside of me”; it describes the essence of the movie.
