You Wanted The Best, You Got The Best?

Kiss celebrates their 40th Anniversary in 2014. No matter the musical trend or line up change, Kiss is surviving and shows no sign of slowing down anytime soon. We even got to see Kiss get inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.

So to mark this historic occasion, Kiss has released a 2 cd compilation entitled KISS 40: Decades Of Decibels. This set includes one song from every major album release (studio, live, and hits collection). This sounds like a great idea, but the song selection is not all that it's cracked up to be. Paul Stanley singing God Of thunder and Strutter 78' should be replaced by the versions we know and love. Let's Put The X In Sex and Down On Your Knees could have replaced by stonger trax from Revenge or Creatues Of The Night. This should have been an incredible collection, but too many missed opportunities makes this set fall flat. For Kiss collectors only.
