With Monster, (their 20th studio album), Kiss returns with straight up rock n' roll with all four members writing and playing together. Monster is a step forward from 2009's Sonic Boom and Kiss sounds revitalized.
As a long time Kiss fan I truly enjoyed Monster, but maybe a mid-tempo or dare I say it...a ballad would have offered a little balance to the record. In any case, don't get me wrong this is a great rock record that bands half their age would kill for .
