KISS - Monster

February 18, 2014

After 40 years of Rockin' and Rollin;' all night, and partyin' everyday, Kiss is still going strong. With Monster, (their 20th studio album), Kiss returns with straight up rock n' roll with all four members writing and playing together.  Monster is a step forward from 2009's Sonic Boom and Kiss sounds revitalized.

As a long time Kiss fan I truly enjoyed Monster, but maybe a mid-tempo or dare I say it...a ballad would have offered a little balance to the record. In any case, don't get me wrong this is a great rock record that bands half their age would kill for .

Playlist Worthy: Hell or Hallelujah, Shout Mercy; Long Way Down, Eat Your Heart Out; All For The Love Of Rock& Roll. Back To The Stone Age.
