I was always a fan of the song "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" by the Charlie Daniels Band from, and now I will age myself, The Starlight Delight Album from KTel that had a compilation of rock hits of the year 1979. I always found Nickelback as an ok band with some good songs, but this track demonstrates that they are much better than what most people think. I am not also the biggest fan of remakes, but this one will definitely go into the books as one of the better ones. A rockier version than the original, replacing the fiddle by the electric guitar. It works very well. Listen to it here. Any rock fan will get a treat !!!!!
