Open Range (2003)
Kevin Costner returns to the Wild West to direct and co-produce Open Range. The film starred Robert Duvall, Kevin Costner, Annette Bening, Michael Gambon, and Michael Jeter.
While the film's story of a cattleman who takes on a corrupt land baron seems rather simple, it is still an engrossing film. Open Range has great characters , beautiful scenery and a whopping 25-minute gun fight. This is one modern day western that will appeal to old and new fans of the genre.
