Bone Tomahawk (2015)
Kurt Russell stars in this genre-busting horror western. Russell plays Sheriff Hunt leader of a posse, set out to rescue local doctor Samantha (Lili Simmons) when she is abducted by a tribe of cannibalistic troglodytes.
Bone Tomahawk for the most part is a talky, character-driven Western. However just when you think you know what your getting into ,the film takes a very unexpected and gruesome turn in the final act. Be Warned, while the film does hint at the cannibal’s tribes' horrific acts, nothing compares to the brutality that is about to come.
The film has an interesting twist to the Western genre, but Bone Tomahawk is definitely not for the faint of heart.
