The Irishman (2019) - Trailer 2

The Irishman is an upcoming American biographical crime drama film directed by Martin Scorsese and written by Steven Zaillian, based on the book I Heard You Paint Houses by Charles Brandt. The film stars Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Joe Pesci. It is the ninth feature collaboration between De Niro and Scorsese and their first since 1995's Casino, the fourth film to star both De Niro and Pacino (following The Godfather Part II, Heat, and Righteous Kill), and the first time Pacino has been directed by Scorsese. With a production budget as high as $200 million, it is one of the most expensive films of Scorsese's career.

In September 2014, The Irishman was confirmed as Scorsese's next film following Silence (2016). Pacino and De Niro were confirmed that month, as was Pesci, who came out of his unofficial retirement to star after being asked numerous times to take the role. Filming was in New York City and the Mineola and Williston Park sections of Long Island, from September 2017 until March 2018.

The film will have its world premiere at the New York Film Festival on September 27, 2019 and its international premiere at the BFI London Film Festival on October 13, 2019, and is set to have a limited theatrical release, followed by digital streaming in late 2019 by Netflix.

This is the most recent trailer. If you like gangster movies, this looks like a winner folks. Check it out.
