3. Rambo (2008)

In Thailand, John Rambo joins a group of mercenaries to venture into war-torn Burma, and rescue a group of Christian aid workers who were kidnapped by the ruthless local infantry unit.

Rambo is easily the darkest and the entry with the biggest and bloodiest body count in the franchise, but to its credit, it accurately portrayed the atrocities happening in Burma.

The fourth entry is a very stripped down hard hitting action film. You either love or hate this installment.
