Terminator: Dark Fate (2019) - Trailer

Terminator: Dark Fate is an upcoming American science fiction action film directed by Tim Miller, with a screenplay by David Goyer, Justin Rhodes, and Billy Ray, from a story by James Cameron, Charles Eglee, Josh Friedman, Goyer, and Rhodes. The film was produced by Cameron and David Ellison. It will be the sixth installment in the Terminator franchise and the first since Terminator 2: Judgment Day to have franchise creator Cameron involved. Cameron considers the film a direct sequel to his films The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day, with the other Terminator films being described as "a bad dream" or occurring in alternate timelines. The film will star Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger returning in their iconic roles of Sarah Connor and the T-800 "Model 101", alongside Mackenzie Davis, Natalia Reyes, Gabriel Luna, and Diego Boneta. It will be the first on-screen role by Hamilton in a Terminator film since Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

Distributed by Paramount Pictures in North America and Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures in other territories, the film is scheduled to be theatrically released in the United States on November 1, 2019. In May 2019, Cameron said the film is intended to be the first R-rated film in the franchise since Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines.
