The old expression "everyone's a critic" has changed over the last 10 years. The internet has become a forum for the people of the world to voice their passions, dislikes or opinions. For better or for worse, anyone can post anything at anytime.

In fact, I started the Aroundtable with my best friends so that we could express our passion for comics, video games, movies, music and anything else that got us excited. For the most part, it's just a bunch of friends discussing genres that peak our interest. I don't claim to know all the answers or have better taste than anyone else, it's just my opinion and you have every right to disagree. Just because I don't like something doesn't mean it isn't good or that someone else can't enjoy it. Entertainment is subjective and it's up to the individual to decide if they like something or not. There are no wrong answers here.

The thing is that whatever I have said or written is simply my opinion at the time. I Never said that I am better or smarter than anyone else. Nor is my opinion gospel. I make mistakes and my opinions are usually done after a first viewing or listening session. There are days in which I do change my mind about a certain movie , group or artist.

I never intended to put someone down or tell them not to enjoy something simply because I don' t.

Remember I am just fanboy just like you. We all have the right to voice our opinion. It has never been my or the Aroundtables intent to belittle or degrade someones taste or right to express themselves. That is why we ask to write to us. Everyone's opinion counts and is valid.

We are all here on the web because we are a passionate bunch of people. So let's keep our passion alive by voicing our opinions but not by degrading each other or giving into the hate. There is enough space here for everyone. Live the dream and live your passion.
