Bohemian Rhapsody (2018)
The film deals with Queen's humble beginnings to through to its iconic Live Aid performance. It is entertaining and everyone involved seems to be very invested in their roles especially, Rami Malek as Freddie Mecury.
This production has been plagued from the get go, such as Sacha Noam Baron Cohen set to star in the movie then drops out due to creative differences and director Bryan Singer leaving the film because due to his repeated on the set clashing with Malek.
The only issue that I have now, is that the film is historically inaccurate. For instance, in the film, Mercury contracted the aids virus as the band reunited for the Live Aid concert, and that is untrue.
Besides the minor issue of changing the bands history, the film is entertaining. The performances all around are great and the music is of course, sensational.
Please look out for Mike Myers as EMI mogul, Ray Foster. His persona seems to link itself to Wayne's World, head banging scene. Which is worth the price of admission alone.
If you can accept that the powers that be have decided to forego historical accuracy in favor of dramatic flair, then Bohemian Rhapsody is a fun time at the movies.
