Xscape is the second release since the untimely death of Michael Jackson in 2009. But unlike the cash and grab release of Michael in 2010, Xscape is a fitting tribute to Jackson’s legacy. This project supervised by L.A.Reid and Timbaland makes the King of Pop sound relevant and nostalgic all at the same time.
The deluxe edition of Xscape has eight songs in their original and “modernized” versions. But the real star of this project is Michael. Listening to the original versions make you realize how talented the King of Pop truly was. The songs left behind could have been recorded in numerous ways and still would have been great.
All in all everyone involved has created a cd worthy of the Jackson name, and a get addition to any fan’s collection.
